These two original partners were previously employees of Prack Partners Architects in Hamilton (now closed) and were responsible for many of the firms projects including buildings at McMaster University, Dofasco, Bell Telephone, Royal Botanical Gardens, City of Hamilton and the Hamilton Conservation Authority.

Our offices are located at 1084 Botanical Drive in Burlington, Ontario, just off Plain Roads West, across from the Royal Botanical Gardens.

We have a total core staff of nine including three registered Architects, one registered Landscape Architect and LEED accredited personnel.

The firm has successfully practiced for 33 years in Burlington. Among the projects completed by this firm includes the Burlington City Hall Expansion; Royal Botanical Gardens’ Admin Building, Auditorium, Greenhouses and Maintenance Facilities; McMaster University Residence; Canadian Society of Lab Technician Head Offices; Hamilton Chedoke Twin Pad Arena; Fire Stations and Senior Residences. 

Currently the firm is specializing, but is not limited to, the design of education facilities for both Catholic and Public School Boards, in Hamilton-Wentworth, Halton and surrounding regions. To further expand its capabilities and strengths, Svedas Architects is actively pursuing new projects and opportunities based on the successful foundation of their past project experiences.
